Rachel doesn't hear any of that. It's like all the sound gets sucked out of the room the second that first flutter comes up on the screen. She vaguely registers that she must be crying because her face feels hot and wet and she's having trouble getting her lungs to move.

She's pregnant. She's a mom and Brooke's gone and she's going to have Raylan's baby. Christ, she feels sick.

"Oh God," she whispers.
