"Hey, I never got to make her a pizza," he says, trying to lighten the mood with a joke. He knows that it's not exactly what she wants to hear, so he curls her in closer, not wanting to give her a single moment to remember all the bad. "She'll remember, babe. And if she doesn't, then you'll remember. You're doing this for you, first off. You and your health and because you deserve to be healthy."
