For Raylan - Ageswitch
Jul. 12th, 2011 09:49 amRachel really can't even pretend to deny anymore that waking up in the same house together, every morning, doesn't make her happy. Really happy. Maybe even closer to content, which is a brand new thing.
It's a typical morning in every way except that she's missing the heavy weight of Raylan's arm around her waist. She doesn't bother opening her eyes, just burrows into her pillow and stretches out a hand to rub down his flat belly. Except that it's wrong. It's so fucking wrong. Her eyes fly open as her hand meets a warm, soft, tiny stomach covered in what feels like way too much fabric.
"Raylan!" she gasps out as she pushes up, room still half in shadows but light enough to see...him. It's got to be him. Maybe younger but holy God.
